Mandated Reporter Training
Any parent wishing to attend field trips must complete the online mandated reporter course and submit a request to the office for a background check. You must let teachers know when you would like to attend a field trip and be approved by administration. The mandated reporter course needs to be completed at least a week before the field trip. The course is free and takes on average 45 minutes to complete. You will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. This certificate must be printed and given to the front office. If you completed the training last year, you do not have to do it again (unless your child changes schools). Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe!
Westside Elementary has received our CCRPI scores from the State of Georgia.
The College and Career Readiness Performance Index Report (CCRPI) has been posted for public review by the Georgia Department of Education. This school performance measure is a new process for all schools in the State of Georgia and replaces the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) reports from No Child Left Behind (NCLB). The results of the new report encompass student achievement, student growth, programmatic evaluation, and student achievement variances between groups of students. The scores reflect school performance for the 2012-2013 school year only. Please visit the following link to view Westside's results: http://ccrpi.gadoe.org/2013/ccrpi2013.aspx
